It's especially important in macOS 11 Big Sur as Apple overhauled a bunch of the security features so apps can't use this functionality without checking in with the user first. If you downloaded the app off the official site and trust the publisher, then it's safe to grant those permissions. Logitech Options needs them for mouse stuff and button mapping/macros in other apps, Dropbox needs them to put its little popup over MS Office documents to let you know other people are currently working with them, some apps like this need certain disk access permissions and the like as well. ^^^ Some apps need accessibility permissions to be allowed to manipulate inputs/overlays for other apps. It also needs you to actually give the accessibility permissions for some functions (literally stuff like scrolling even) otherwise it will keep popping up. That's how you configure additional settings, my MX Master 3 uses it specifically. I understand that Mac doesn't necessarily play well with other peripherals but even OP posted this 3 months ago.If you're running Logitech peripherals it may be necessary for certain functionality.
